The Vale Shiraz Grenache

S.C. Pannell The Vale Shiraz Grenache is a blend of old vine McLaren Vale Shiraz and Grenache. The two varieties, distinctly McLaren Vale, create a wine that is more than the sum of its parts.

All the fruit is handpicked. Depending on the vintage, the varieties may be co-fermented while in others they ferment separately. However S.C. Pannell's methods of open fermentation, natural yeast and use of large format oak remains constant.

A deep dark red, S.C. Pannell The Vale Shiraz Grenache is medium to full bodied with dark fruit flavours, spice and long, savoury tannins. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
